Happy News
Mary Ellen Pierce, RN, MSN was asked to participate in a Special Report slated for publication by Dorland Health in August 2011.
Penned by some of the leading figures in caseload study, this guidebook provides a clear-cut picture of what’s at stake when it comes to securing caseloads, and it illustrates the strategies that department heads as well as frontline case managers (and related professionals) can use to create a satisfactory caseload program. Guest Editor of this special report is Ms. Kathy Craig, MS, RN-BC, CCM, one of the preeminent voices in caseload research.
Mary Ellen wrote the sixth section which specifically addresses the ebb and flow of too many cases vs. not enough cases in an independent practice, where you must always be prepared to address these fluctuations quickly.
Our warm congratulations and appreciation go to Mary Ellen for her ongoing commitment to the OMCMG and CMSA, as well as the education of and advocacy for case managers everywhere.
